Reuse

Reusing is the repeated use of a product, without changing its physical appearance. This simple gesture reduces the utilization of new resources and minimizes the amount of waste to be managed or buried.

Here are some things you can do to reuse your waste:

  • Donate or purchase used items that are still in good condition (furniture, clothing, etc.)
  • Favour the use of reusable containers and bags
  • Bring returnable bottles back to the retailer
  • Use rechargeable batteries
  • Print on both sides of the paper
