HAZARDOUS HOUSEHOLD WASTE (HHW)

The HHW Transfer Centre will be open for the last day of the year on Friday October 19th from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. You can drop off your residential HHW free of charge. Details here

FLUSHING OF THE MUNICIPAL AQUEDUCT SYSTEM

The flushing of the municipal aqueduct system will take place between 9 pm and 7 am, from Sunday October 21st to Friday October 26th.

A pressure drop is to be expected. The water may appear dirty and/or turbid (air in pipes) after this work. This situation is harmless and the water is nevertheless clean. By letting the water run for a short period of time, it will soon return to normal.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THIS PERIOD, IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO CLOSE YOUR HOT WATER TANK VALVE.

ACTIVITIES

"CHAMPION DE LECTURE" CONTEST

For children ages 6 to 9 who are up for the challenge of reading several books in 60 days. There are prizes to be won! Registration until October 5th. Information at the library circulation desk or by calling 450 834-2596, ext. 7162.

STORY TIME IN PYJAMAS

Fridays October 5th, 9th and 19th, 7 pm at the library.

Accompanied by a parent and their favorite stuffed animal, children are invited to come and listen to two stories, followed by an arts and crafts activity.

RECREATION SWIMMING IS BACK!

Beginning October 10th at the école secondaire des Chutes pool - 3192 18th Avenue. 

Family: Saturday 2 pm to 4 pm (free of charge for residents on October 13th)
Le Rendez-vous: Monday and Wednesday 8 pm to 9:15 pm

Cost: $4/pers., family of 3: $10, family of 4: $12. Discount card available.

FUNDRAISER FOR "LES PATTES DE RAWDON"

On Saturday October 13th at 10 am
Departure from École Marie-Anne - 4567 Mont-Pontbriand St. (in case of rain, postponed to the following day).

Come and take part in the "Dogs Walk for Cats" 5 km walk, with or without your dog, to raise funds for the community cats spay/neuter program. The cost of registration is $10.
