Ice rinks, snow sliding and snowshoe rental

Beach Chalet Schedule
Weather permitting, open every day from 9 am  to 10 pm

Ice rinks
Two well-lit rinks are located right next to the chalet at the beach. One is usually reserved for skating and the other for hockey so there’s something for everybody!

Opening January
Take advantage of the skating trail on Rawdon Lake. It’s a beautiful natural ice corridor.

Snow sliding
Come sliding at our beautiful beach, on our groomed runs and walk-up paths. Don’t forget your toboggans and “crazy carpets”!

Snowshoe rental
Come take advantage of our wonderful parks on snowshoes. There are snowshoes available every Saturday and Sunday at the Beach Chalet as of 9 am.
Residents: Free
Non-residents: rental fee
Information

All of our outdoor rinks are unsupervised and available for skating. Parental supervision is required.

Services and schedule
Since they are outdoor rinks, Mother Nature has a lot to say about when they are open and closed. Generally speaking, we hope to open the rinks for the holidays and to keep them open until the school break. Feel free to contact the Department of Recreation and Culture to see which of our rinks are open.

Heated installations
You can put on your skates and warm up at the heated installations located next to all our rinks. Washrooms and parking are also available.

Cost
It’s free, so come with your family and friends!

Reservations
We kindly ask that all schools and day care centres make a reservation with our Department of Recreation and Culture before making their way to the Municipal Beach.Location

All of our rinks as well as the toboggan hill are located at 3304 8th Avenue.
