Control watering

In dry weather, keep the grass at about 7.5 centimeters (3 inches) in length as it will retain water better.

Control the amount of water: have one or two containers, about the size of a can of tuna, in your garden to measure the amount of water received. In times of drought, only 2.5 centimeters of water per week is needed to maintain a healthy lawn.

When needed, water your lawn very early in the morning or in the evening to prevent 40% of the water from evaporating in the sun (please check the  watering schedule).
