Flushing of the municipal aqueduct system
To all residents connected to the municipal aqueduct system (St-Patrick and Monière)
The Department of Public Works, Environmental health division, will be flushing the municipal aqueduct system. The work will take place between 9 pm and 7 am, beginning Sunday, October 3rd and ending Saturday, October 9th, at 7 am.
A pressure drop is to be expected and the water may appear dirty and/or turbid (air in pipes) after this work. This situation is harmless and the water is nevertheless potable. By letting the water run for a short period of time, it will soon return to normal. We advise you to check the color of the water prior to washing clothes.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THIS PERIOD, IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO CLOSE YOUR HOT WATER TANK VALVE.
The Municipality will not be held responsible for any damages during or subsequent to this work
