Sale of Properties for Non-Payment of Taxes

The sale of properties for non-payment of municipal and school taxes is one of the means available to municipalities and school boards to recover their unpaid taxes. 

The Municipality of Rawdon undertakes the sale of properties for non-payment of taxes through the Matawinie RCM.  

In the Code municipal du Quebec, Article 1022 and those following, you will find the legal provisions governing this procedure for the recovery of unpaid municipal and school taxes.
