SURVEY – Have your say on the Queen Street of tomorrow!
Along with the organization Rues principales, Mayor Raymond Rougeau’s administration proudly announces that it has launched a process of reflection to guide the potential revitalization of Queen Street in Rawdon.
Citizens are thus invited to respond, in great numbers, to the survey available through the link below, by March 6th, 2022. This survey will provide information on the general appreciation of various potential beautification projects. A survey aimed at merchants and business people with a storefront was also sent out to obtain their views on this matter.
To orchestrate and support this process, a working committee has been established, made up of ten people (merchants and municipal representatives) as well as the two councillors responsible for this project, Mrs. Stéphanie Labelle and Mr. Bruno Desrochers. In addition, a workshop has mobilized some twenty key stakeholders, including merchants, but also people directly or indirectly involved on Queen Street.

Finally, we should mention that Rues principales is a public interest organization that works in urban and rural areas to revitalize the hearts of communities. The objective is to strengthen and create centres that are as much civic and business hubs as well as unifying, prosperous and attractive living environments.
