Halloween 2020

To allow children to experience the joys of Halloween despite the pandemic, the Municipality of Rawdon is a preparing a safe but different party for its little monsters!

Citizens are encouraged to participate in the best decorated home contest. Register before October 21st. Residents will be able to vote for their favorite house!

To be won: a gift card from one of Rawdon’s merchants, $600 worth in prizes! To determine the 3 winners, a draw will be held on November 2nd, 2020.

On the day of Halloween, you are invited to share photos of your costumes with us on our Facebook page.  Stay tuned…


It is important to abide by the soon-to-be-announced Public Health guidelines pertaining to the handing out of candy.

To avoid gatherings, Queen Street will not be closed to traffic as is the tradition on Halloween.

Hear ye! Hear ye, children and parents of Rawdon, we want to see your costumes! How, you say? It’s easy-peasy!

You have until October 28th to send us a photo of your disguised family!
Send your photo in jpg format, maximum 15 MB, to, with the following information:

  • The names of the people in the photo
  • What your disguise is
  • Your consent authorizing the Municipality to use your photo (IMPORTANT)

On October 31st, we will display the photos of all participants on our social media, followed by a draw for bags of goodies for participants, which we will deliver to their homes on Halloween!
