Public Access

The Municipality of Rawdon offers two municipal accesses for navigating Rawdon Lake and Pontbriand Lake.

Rawdon Lake
Boating is permitted on Rawdon Lake, however not with a gas motor boat (federal regulation). Boats (kayak, canoe, paddleboat, electric motor) can be launched at the municipal beach, located on 8th Avenue.

Pontbriand Lake
At Pontbriand Lake, you can launch a boat from the municipal launching ramp at Cascades Park. In accordance with By-law no 129-2020, both residents and non-residents with boats of 10 or more horsepower must first obtain a vignette to navigate the lake. The vignettes can be purchased at Cascades Park.

Vignettes prices:
Annual vignette (residents): $34.50
Daily vignette (non-residents): $172.50

For respectful navigation by all, please comply with the Pontbriand Laske Code of Conduct, available here
