New regulation – Watering Rawdon
In the wake of the Quebec Strategy for Saving Drinking Water, which requires municipalities to carry out several actions to reduce the consumption of drinking water, in the spring of 2021, the Municipality of Rawdon revised its regulation pertaining to watering conditions on its territory.
Flower boxes, vegetable, gardens, gardens, trees, shrubs, planters, flowerbeds
At all time from Monday to Sunday
Hose with automatic shut-off nozzle
Motor vehicles
At all time from Monday to Sunday
Hose with automatic shut-off nozzle or wash bucket
Lawn
4 am to 6 am sprinkler (electronic timer system)
8 pm to 10 pm movable sprinklers or porous pipes
Odd civic numbers: Tuesday and Saturday
Even civic numbers : Wednesday and Sunday
Hedges, trees, shrubs and other plants
4 am to 6 am sprinkler (electronic timer system)
8 pm to 10 pm movable sprinklers or porous pipes
Odd civic numbers: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Even civic numbers : Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
New lawn (seeded or sod), planting of new trees, shrubs or new landscaping

Hose with a maximum 3/4 inch diameter

Tip
In dry weather, keep the grass at about 7.5 centimeters (3 inches) in length as it will retain water better.
