Rawdon is getting ready for Saint-Patrick’s Day! We want to see green everywhere!

Rawdon wishes to inform you that the volunteer members of the Saint-Patrick’s Day Committee have concocted some activities in honor of this beautiful Irish holiday.

« The health guidelines we are following prevent us from getting together for our annual parade.  However, the volunteer members of the St-Patrick’s Day Committee would like for all Rawdon’s citizens to celebrate in a different way, by participating in organized activities, by decorating their homes, by taking a walk on Queen Street and stopping by the Town Hall to admire the beautiful structure created by  Jacques Ricard and MariEve Benson », proudly stated the Mayor, Mr. Bruno Guilbault.

Two videos were created featuring Pascal Babin, host and comedian extraordinaire.  The first announces the 2021 St-Patrick’s Day activities, while the second offers you a very special virtual parade!  Get ready for a laugh! Visit the  Saint-Patrick Rawdon 2020 Facebook page, or the saintpatrickrawdon.org website.

There will also be virtual activities for the whole family: Saturday March 13th at 10 am, a story, legend and magic show with Captain Loran and on Wednesday March 17th at 6 pm, a dance show starring Studio EDR! (follow them on Facebook)

Why not support the organizing committee by purchasing Saint-Patrick’s Day promotional items! A reusable water bottle at the Liquidation 125 Plus store, and the popular T-shirts available at MD Sport de Rawdon (Hurry! they are going fast!).

« The municipal council and I would like to commend the volunteer members of the committee who never take a break and who, despite the pandemic, organized a St-Patrick’s Day as tradition demands in Rawdon!   We would also like to thank all of the sponsors for their participation», added the mayor.

In collaboration with several Saint-Patrick’s Day partners, an exceptional parade is being readied for next year.
